Stocking List

I am starting a 29 gallon tank soon after I save up enough to buy it. I was just wondering if this is a good stocking list or if it's overstocked. This tank is planted and has a filter for a 50 gallon for it. [AquaClear 50] If there are problems as well with this list please tell me.

Rummynose Tetra: x12

Cardinals or Neons [Still deciding between cons and pros between the two] x6

Pygmy Corys x6

Otos x4 [Algae Clean up]

Amano Shrimp x3 [Algae Clean up]

Nerite Snails x2 [Algae Clean up]

I've read that shrimps aren't much on the bioload. So I'm thinking this isn't overstocked.

If it is please make some suggestions.

Oh! I also want to know where's a good place online to buy some pygmy corys that are cheap.

good list..

they only place I was able to get pygmy cory was at coryRus.

I looked at CoryRus and they only sell the pygmy corys in 10s. Do you think they could just sell me 6? Or are there any other places?

pygmy cory are best kept at 10 or more so you will have to buy it at the set...they won't sell any pygmy count lower than that.

I would say that is close to the limit. But since you have plants, clean-up crew,etc. It seems balance. But

how much is the tank planted? But I would say that as you put more stuff into the tank, the total volume of water is reduced due to displacement.Keep an eye on the water conditions.

well good luck. at least the size of the fishes you get won't get much bigger.

Yeah, I was thinking it was gonna be pretty close.

Uh I'm not sure how planted it's gonna be, but I'm thinking a carpet of Dwarf Hair Grass, And a convex aquascape. So it won't be like a thick forest of plants. I'm gonna do 30% water changes every week. Hopefully thats gonna prevent any kind of spikes.

Yeah, I only really like small schooling fish. Big fish seem kinda boring to me. Thanks!
