I would say yes I have 6 dwarf neon rainbows with 5 rummys and 5 corys.

i was acutally thinking about getting some dwarf rainbow for my tank this labor day...

 

Very cool fish and yes they are peaceful....only bad thing is that petsmart have them and males only.

you can keep them if you have a 55 or larger tank ..prefer 75gallon+

Short answer is yes. Bows are by far my favorite fish. They are very peaceful, but very very energetic, so no timid fish. Also, if kept right, they grow fairly large (4 inches)so a larger tank is better if you want to keep a good amount. Even though I hated it when people would recommend species only tanks when I first got into the hobby, rainbows def look best and behave best when kept with other bows. You will not see their full displaying colors and the amazing "flashing" unless there are other bows, male and female. Many people buy dif types of bows and are disappointed when they aren't as pretty has ones they have seen in display tanks and online. There are several key factors that will make night and day difference in the color of your bows. Check out some of my pictures to get you bow addicted lol.
