So after some studying I believe that I have detritus worms in my aquarium. What I can't figure out is if they are harmful to my fish? And a good way to get rid of them without tearing the tank down? Any suggestions or information as always will be appreciated.

not harmful...

feed less and do waterchange

Just did a pretty intense cleaning on the tank. Vacuumed the gravel as good as I could since I can't use my python syphon anymore. (new house different faucets) I did about a 50% change this time. It has been a good while since I did a large water change. But there are still some worms. I am sure that the ones on the glass are detritus worms but there are also what look to be a different type of worm that is occasionally swimming or drifting in the water. It is long and skinny like a round worm. But I can't figure out where they could be coming from. I am going to try to watch how much I feed them. Any other advice?
add salt
I already use aquarium salt so how much should I add?
i won't add too much...once every other day to see if there is change or die off
