Ok so my girlfriend wants eithe angels or convict cichlids. I have a good idea how fast a convict will grow but no clue about angels. I'm thinking of going to petco while they have the $1 a gallon sale and getting either a 20l or 29g tank. Depending on the size of the 29 if it can fit where I plan on doing it. So my question is if I go with the 20 allon long will there be enough room for a 2-4 baby angles and they live comfortably until I can save to get the accessories for my 55? For the lights and stuff I want for my 55 it should take me 6-8 months to get it set up. So can that many baby angels do well for that long or will they grow too fast?

if i were you i'll save time and money and get the 55g ready

the later get my fish

But if you want to do the hard way..get the 29g... they prefer height rather than surface area.
