I bought a jebo from the local fish store it came with two 55 watt 6500 k bulbs one is white and one is blue and I put them on my 37 gallon tall so that's almost 3 watts per gallon is this over kill ? Can this heat up my water? Will this kill my plants or fish ??? Alge??? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated

There's no alge in my tank , thanks for the help I'm going to return it and get a t5 ho and do the white and pink and see how that goes
Geisemann (spelling?) Bulbs are very good.
Not yet...but, if you were to keep that set-up, you would have soon. I love my T5 HO. The white/pink combo is a good choice. Not sure of the length/wattage of your intended fixture but, you should know the wpg deal is not accurate when it comes to T5 HO. Check out Hoppy's thread on P.A.R. in the lighting section.
Thanks bro ill do that
I checked out hippie thread my question to you is my tank if my tank is 30inch long twenty inch tall and the light fixture is 30 inch with 22 inch bulbs that would be high light right .... What do you think would be good for me in that tank I have some amazon swords , crypts , jungle val,and some other crypts .... The bulbs say 24 watt butt I know this doesn't apply with the t5 ho ... What should I do ?????
You are high light. You could probably grow most anything with that amount of light. Your going to need ferts and co2 to keep the plants healthy and growing well or algae will run rampant. Using dirt or other nutrient rich substrate would probably help. Good luck.
I meant hoppys damn out correct :)
I guess it will :)
if need be you could probably start useing ferts and add co2 to keep up with the excess light
