yeah going too add some from the other tank and try with 2-3 hour less light per day for a week or 2 and see if its the same going to cut back a little on surface water flow to

This happened to me i knew i didnt have enough lighting i but duckweed for my fish to eat . What is you lighting and how many gallons do u have

I had the same problem I moved some to a different tank with same lighting but it had less movement in the water almost none and it grew like crazy
