So I've got this killer piece of drift wood. Trying to let it sit over night in a tub of hot water. I can't even keep it under with a red brick on it. I KID YOU NOT!
I was thinking about pouring some lead into it like fishing weights you find at a tackle store.
Another thought was getting silicon glue out and gluing it to a piece of slate.
Anyone got good tips on how to anchor drift wood?
Thanks folks!

This is more of a log piece. I'm thinking about drilling a hole and pouring lead into it. Then using Anubias plant to root and hide where I had to drill it for lead if it shows too much.
If it were more of a vertical piece your slate suggestion would be perfect. I've got more of a coin wood piece were it could get laid heads or tails. I hate having to nail it down to a side.
Thinking the lead option gives me better options and if I drill it right it should be easy to hide.
Thanks for the feedback!
