Lighting Help!

should i use a t8 flourescent bulb on 10 gallon or a cfl bulb thats 6500k which one gives of better light i am thinking about adding more plants that are a little more demanding of light thanks for any help.

Just do a wc every 2-3 days like 20-25% . It should clear up on its own and hopefully ur fish dont get 2 badly affected

Ok did 25% wc 2day wondering do i need nedication like melafix and also i was thinking about getting some rcs and i was wondering how much do they usually cost.

U can get it. Alot of ppl have used it with good success. And rcs usually go for $3 at ur lfs but online u can get them cheaper. (Ebay) or if ur planning to get a good amount of shrimp www.theshrimpfarm.com sells them cheaper the more u get

I want to feed my neons a high quality pellet food cause i heard pellets are 10x better than flakes what are some good pellets for neons hikari,nls and what do you feed your neons?

I feed my fish ocean nutrition flakes, tetra color sinking pellets , frozen bloodworms, and live blackworms. But n e pellets are good just check the ingredients and most should be a protein not a starch and those are the good 1s. Ive tried nls but my fish wont eat that at all. But they love ocean nutrition flakes.

Ph is 7.6 with neon tetras shouldbi lower it down to 7.0 to 7.1 because my bathroom tap is 7.6 but my kitchen filtered tap us between 7.0 and 7.1 i checked with api liquid so should i change it or no because i know neon tetras are from the amazon which has acidic water?
