If u go by the 1" of fish per 1g u can add 6-7 more guppys. Yea u can add rcs . And any fish will always try n eat the small fry shrimp. Just have good cover and you should be fine.
is it true that you dont have to buy your lights at the lfs because i bought a t8 6500k bulb from amazon and was wondering if there was a difference because there is in the price
No diff lfs charge more because they are lfs they sell filter floss. Aka pillow stuffing at 10 times the price u get it at a craft store. Air tubing is also cheaper at hardware stores
alright now im confident in my purchase thanks Peter
i want to get neon tetras didnt have good luck with them in the past but i was wondering if you can give me advise on how to jeep abd care for them in high ph conditions such as 7.6 and also will driftwood lower ph permanently or just temporarily thank you for your help
I have hard water as well and whats most important is to acclimate ur fish slowly. And driftwood lowers ph well till u wc. Its really the tannis in dw that lowers ph. So if u dont do waterchanges and let ur water turn tea and stay there ur ph will stay lower. If u do waterchanges and get rid of the tannis the ph will go back to normal
And whats your ph?
what ph do you have with the neon tetras
My water comes out of the tap at 7.8ph i have all my fish minus a shrimp that in 7.8 ph this includes bettas, otos, corys,Discus, guppys, neons and cardinals. My shrimp are at a 6.4ph.
So its ok to put cardinal tetras in my tank with rcs with a ph of 7.6 or neons
is it a good idea to put cardinals or neon tetras in there with a ph of 7.6 and what about rcs?
what about cherry barbs would they do good in 10 gallon planted tank or i should stick with neons with a ph of 7.6 whats your opinion i just want to choose the right fish for my tank
