I have heard dirt if you go to put plants in after to fill the tank it vary messy or if you go to take out plants and you can't have fish like loach's or pleco's. Is it true????

dirt can be quite messy at times.
Pulling plants out slowly will help keep the dirt from coming up and when you plant plants, you do it slowly.
As for species of pleco and loaches that doesn't harm your plants...there are a few of them out there. I can name them but it is always wise to research them before putting in a planted tank.
if you need to take a plant out for whatever reason do it as slow as possible and you won't make too much mess, I only got a tiny bit of dirt into the water when removing afew swords
I've got a pleco in my dirted tank and its fine, theres enough gravel that he doesn't go deep enough to get to the dirt (when he does move gravel about that is)
