Shrimp Tank

I have been thinking of makeing a shrimp tankand i dont know waht kind to put in it,so if anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated. Alos i think bamboo shrimp look cool but i dont know if i sjould buy bamboo for them.

I think this is a stupid question, but will rainbow fish eat shrimp? and if they do what kinds?

make a red cherry shrimp tank and keep it species only and soon you'll have so many its what im doing.

they should be fine with rainbows but will eat any baby shrimp if you plan having rcs or similar shrimp

crystal red are very nice shrimp to get and yes...rainbow might eat your shrimp if it can fit their mouth.

One of the best things to do is start with some Cherry Red Shrimp... They are more forgiving than CRS, and cost about .50 to 1.00 a piece.

Once you have them going good for a few months, you can always add Crystal Red Shrimp to the same tank as long as it's a good size like 10G.

Rainbows will eat them, so be careful.

$1 a shrimp if u can get some...lol

they go 4 2.50+ each

Try some people local to you. On some of the invert boards, and local aquatic clubs they are less than 1$. I payed 20$ shipped for 20 my last group before winter hits to help my gene pool.
