some of those plants are ... very well hidden.  Once they grow taller so we can see them Ill like it more =P  My tank is desperate need of rescaping

I'm thinking of doing this same thing soon on my 20 gallon. How much of a sand cap did you you use. Is it about the same as with gravel?

I used an inch, maybe a little more of pool filter sand to cap the dirt with. Good luck!
