I am looking for the ideal substrate for my next planted tank. Preferably one that won't mess with the PH of the water. Any suggestions? Pros and cons of certain products you've had experience with?
Considering: Onyx sand, flourite, flourite dark, Fluval stratum, Ada aquasoil, eco-complete, any others?
Thanks!

ADA aquasoil is by far the best, downside SUPER EXPENSIVE.
Have you ever done a dirted tank? im not sure if it effects the ph though, i hasnt really done anything to mine, but dirt with a gravel or sand cap works well and its probably the cheapest, other than that id say flourite, eco complete, and fluval stratum are all good but comparable to each other, if you want one of those get the cheapest which is probably flourite, then ada aquasoil is very good but expenisve as hell
