I was curious, what small community fish can go with betta fish in a 10 gallon tank?

I've kept neons with a betta in a 10 gallon and didn't lose n e to the betta

A few cories definately but, it depends on the nature of your betta. I have my hmpk betta with my dwarf gourami neon tetras and my 5 cories!

Pretty much anything except aggressive cichlids or fish big enough to eat the betta.

snails might work

Any smaller faster none fin nipping fish like some tetras or danios work, also snails or shrimp as long as the shrimp have places to hide, i have a 10 gallon with a betta 5 corys, 3 xray tetras, and 1 oto, also for quite a while i had a dwarf gourami in the tank but i moved him to my new tank to help cycle it

basicly any fish but guppies, other bettas (unless there all female), and cichlids

well you could have any tetra like neon tetras .. and cory cats, they're really cool because mine are not scared of my betta at all its funny. also any pleco, he might nip at it a few times but dw it wont hurt it also you could keep it with shrimp (but not tiny ones) and oto catfish too :) but try to keep it away from long finned fish, and especially if they are smaller ,because he WILL eat them! and put a betta with other fish in a minimum of 5 gallon, even ten. and have lots of plants, because that way the aggression will be spread out better, and any threatened fish will be able to swim away. and try to keep it well fed because otherwise he will have no choice but to eliminate a fish from the community, so feed him frozen shrimp or any other small frozen foods every other day. bettas are fish that don't see very well so you might not want to use flakes, because he might not see them and starve. and if you use frozen foods, your neons and practically any other fish will eat that.

-- hope i helped! send me a message or comment on my wall if you have any questions. and i have a video of my community tank with my betta on my wall so you might wanna check it out!

-- betta here!

I have a Betta in a 90 gallon tank with mollies, guppies, playties some zebras the cats and a pile of babies, they get along great.  I have a little nest of a few fake plants I have stuck to the side of tank about 2 inches from the top.  He likes to hang out there when he is not swimming around.

otocinclus would probably work
