I was watching this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2NrUSOolCI I had to start laughing because if they did an 'Iron Chef' auqascaping type fish tank show. Watching Dustin put in dirt with manure while Amano is doing all this stuff. I have to think Amano and his camp would be so offended it would be funny. Organic dirt as crazy as it sounds does great things for the planted tank. Looking at a hospital tank / breeding tank suggestions or videos?

I don't think I want to put any thing i this tank but maybe a small clay pot and a big clump of wisteria. Anyone have suggestion of videos? All of the commercial fish farms I've seen don't even have live plants. Would you add shrimp? Thinking about breading a pair of blue rams. Also thinking about starting to bread shrimp. They absorb heat differently and tend to not be a tight fit or worse the plastic starts to crack or the metal threads strip the plastic ones. Would be nice to find an all metal version and be done with all of the problems I've had with the cheaply made one.

I never could get HC to grow. I have non-dwarf Baby Tears growing in all of my low tech plants. It's all on the youtube channel.
