Ive never been into shrimp tanks too much, and its a reg, I wish it was a long but its just what I had laying around.

So many small schooling fish that I'd love to have.    I might start a cool water tank and get a nice school of white cloud minnows next, then look for some compatible specimen fish to go with them.

Schooling fish are wonderful and the white clouds will do very nicely. You can look up 'fish compatibility chart' on Google and it will show you a list of fish that can live together. I wish they'd come up with a list of fish that can live in certain size tanks, that would be very nice.

12 harlequins, 12 dwarf or Pygmy corries, 5 oto cats, and a pair or rams. And most importantly, enough plants to cover the substrate and hide the back wall entirely.

I was thinking about going with a school of harlequins actually, and then a blue paradise which are awesome, and then possibly shrimp or something. And yea GSP im planning on it having a carpet of baby tears and then some ludwigia and rotella in the back with some other various plants.

Paradise gouramis are typically jerks! Generally trouble in a community tank.

just saw some blue kerri tetra at the lfs yesterday..  now I want a whole new tank so I can buy some.
