Ok, so i've had my tank for about 1 month or two, and after i got my plants in, and started surfing the web for answers to my many questions, i realized that i was getting NO algae!!!!!!!!! so i got really worried and went to the pet store, and i got some tetra pellets, and i figured it would help because with my corys and plecos, it would give them algae to feed on, but its been weeks and ive been putting a whole bunch of pellets, but no algae has been growing!!!. a few days a go i noticed some clear algae growing on my drift wood. but thats it!!! HELP!! please !! AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG?? please comment!
Info:
A few plants,,
Betta
9 neons
2 corys
1 pleco
rocks
Gravel
working filter
light (nit too strong but enough)
oh ok hha
and do bettas breath on the surface?
yes use a fork thats stainless steel. another method is use the fork method but microwave the veggies so that the cells walls break down a bit. makes it easier for the fish and algae eaters to scrape the tissue off of the veggies
@ lc: my betta acts reall yweird when i put it in. like he goes to the bottom, its really weird so i take it out emidiatly.. but also my pleco dont really seem interested at all, when i out cucomber in the tank.. i dont think they even see it
