Hello ...... I have a 45gal aquarium that I'm going to drain , add substrate and Aquascape. In this tank I want to put 6 - 10 "Goyder River Rainbowfish" ONLY . The tank is 45gal (36" X 18" X 12) >>> Is it big enough for up to 10 Rainbows and maybe a few cory catfish ????? If you can help - Please reply , thanks !!!
That is a handy tool , thanks !!
From what ive heard and read most rainbows are happiest in a 48 inch tank (the bigger species) but i have 2 rainbows in a 3 foot wide tank and they are doing just fine. Good color, they eat like fat kids, and they are very active... ten seems like a lot but who am I to judge good luck with your tank and make sure you have at least 1:1 female to male ratio for best coloration
