Hello ......  I have a 45gal aquarium that I'm going to drain , add substrate and Aquascape. In this tank I want to put   6 - 10  "Goyder River Rainbowfish"  ONLY  .  The tank is 45gal  (36" X 18" X 12)  >>> Is it big enough for up to 10  Rainbows and maybe a few cory catfish ?????   If you can help - Please reply ,  thanks !!!

From what ive heard and read most rainbows are happiest in a 48 inch tank (the bigger species) but i have 2 rainbows in a 3 foot wide tank and they are doing just fine.  Good color, they eat like fat kids, and they are very active... ten seems like a lot but who am I to judge good luck with your tank and make sure you have at least 1:1 female to male ratio for best coloration
