SICK FISH HELP ME!

Hey guys, so I was gone all weekend and I returned to my rainbows looking like this. One of them is very bad and 3 others have developed darker scales and they seem to get dark blue, then gray, then white. Its not spots tho it seems more like the scales changing color and falling off or something, also they have the classic white poop. I had just done a dirt convert a few weeks back but I did a water change before leaving. There was a freshly dead tetra in the tank although he has been the only tetra in the tank for awhile since all his buddys died from ich last year so he has been really stressed. Any way, if anyone knows what this is or how to fix this PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

I dint test the water tho, im more worried about how to cure them rather than what caused it cuz im sure it was high in one of those considering its a newly dirt-converted tank.

Comment by alex9j4m on April 29, 2013 at 4:41pm: Yea, i had them for just over a year now, no co2, and yea I added some rasboras. Im fairly certain it was the water tho because it wasnt very clear after returning. So far the rest of the tank is looking fine but the infected are only getting worse. Their scales are falling off and there fins are tearing. I think its only right to kill them if they don't improve over the next 2 days.

I will see if they show any sign of improvment in the next day otherwise there is no need to make em suffer. Thanks alot for your help!
