I bought a new " Fluval Flora " 7.9 gal aquarium that I'm currently using to raise 10-12  baby Angel fish. Long story but my two adult Angels had laid eggs in my 65gal six times b/4 and ate the eggs every time - so this last time I moved the amazon leaf that the eggs were on and put it in a 10 gal by itself - most of the eggs died but 10 - 15 eggs hatched. I have been feeding them frozen bbs and first bites and they are doing good. Soon I want to move them out so I can aquascape the Fluval Flora and maybe add some shrimp . It would be my first time giving shrimp a try but think it would be interesting . My question is are shrimp hard to raise / keep alive / best type ??  Photo is of my Fluval Flora that I want to scape - the tank came with 4 lbs of Fluval substrate ( plus I bought 4 lbs more of fluval shrimp substrate )  also came with a  Co2 unit , light , filter , etc.

Please reply if you can help a rookie with Shrimp .........

Pretty much everything you need! Including how to setup the tank and the best shrimp for you! Good luck!

Red Cherry Shrimp (RCS) are the easiest - just have a temp of 75-78F and that's about it.
