Visual Effects of the UV Steriliser
I attached a sheet of A4 gloss photo paper to the cupboard door beside my tank
so looking down the length of the tank it gives a good indication of water clarity
(photo's taken in same exposure mode and lighting conditions *room lights and aquarium lights*)

It's quite remarkable, isn't it? The water clarity a UV can promote has to be seen to be believed.
Your aquarium looks outstanding, nicely done.

I have to agree with you there, I put a UV in my tank a few months ago, crystal clear water. But I am still fighting an algae problem in there. I had some luck doing a frequent major water change.
