I am having some trouble to get my plants to sway. I have a canister 305 going on full blast and it does about half the tank. I attempted to add a powerhead that does 850GPH..Which is an overkill. I am having trouble getting flow to the other half of my 55.

Have any solutions?

I was possibly thinking about buying a powerhead that is rated for a nono tank maybe 425GPH, or even the Hagen mini filter for flow. If you have any suggestions please help.

Thank you,

Nathan

If u want them to sway get a wave maker like they have In sw tanks

you could attach circular filter foam around the powerhead to reduce the output.

I use a small hang on back filter for extra water flow on my 55. Cheap solution and it works

Maybe if you use another canister 305 on the other end, it can even out the movement.

Cus he wanted the plants to sway a war maker is best bet. Filter an power head will just make a constant flowing wont let plants sway a wave maker makes a power head turn off and on to make them sway
