Half Black Angelfish

I was just looking on Liveaquaria.com and noticed that the Half Black Angelfish can have a Ph range from 5.8 to 8.0. Iwas wondering if that was true, because those angels are sick and I am planning on getting one soon.So if anyone can help me I would really appreciate it.

Angelfish can stand ph from 5.8 to about 7.0 maybe little higher my pairs seem to do fine at 6.0 and 6.8

I think the PH level is not so important as long as it stays constant or close to constant (and within a reasonable range). It becomes a problem for fish if it begins to change quickly up or down.
