Do trumpet snails, particularly the "hairy" variety(Thiara cancellata) eat plants??
I bough a "hairy" trumpet snail at my LFS because it was sold under the name "Fancy Nerite Snail" however i later found out that it is actually a hairy trumpet snail not a nerite. Recently I have been noticing some holes that appear to be chewed in my Ludwigia. connection??
also, anyone know if trumpets get along ok with nerites? thinking of popping in a couple more for clean up control.
