Impossible to tell because she could have been pregnant at ur LFS jus check for wen ur guppy's stomach has a squared off look at that point within 24 hrs

You can also look for little black dots in the ovary, that will also indicate when shes about to give birth.

She just gave birth, saved most of the babies but a bunch probably were a snack

Okay so she gave birth last night, but she still has a gravid spot! its pretty big still (the spot) so do you think she still has some left in her??

How did you catch the babies I've got five females that are prego

Well i have breeder traps already, you can pick one up at your LFS for like 6 bucks.. you put the female in it and when she gives birth they fall in between a small crack and are safe from her adn other fish. (They will all want to eat the babies)  But this Guppy surprised me so basically i came home and saw a few babies swimming around so i got my net and went to work. If you have plants they will hide in them so i lifted up a bunch of em and found some so i caught em with the net. They are wicked small and fast so it was kinda hard. Just be patient if you want to net them and try not to crush them into the walls, gravel. rocks etc.

But won't the babies just swim through the holes in the net cuz theyer so small?

well if you have a fine mesh net then no

Hey. It seems like your female is Fine. Since she did already give birth. And most of the times when you put a female in a breeder trap or even if she is not in one. She will often still have a large gravid spot meaning - there are atleast one more fry in there or two. Then usually by the next day it gets smaller and her stomach starts to shrink again (from my experience). Also Baby guppies are not that small so still they cant swim through a regular net (trust me I've raised my baby guppies in the regular green/blue net). Yet it is best to be cautious with them. :) Alot of female guppies when giving birth seem to not have a taste for their babies YET. Untill later when finishing or being near the end of giving birth.

If you got anymore questions feel free to ask me. Had so many generations of my guppies that they started to not reproduce anymore, but some of then still do.
