Howdy all!

I just planted a new Dwarf red lily and 3 new little cardinal plants. Right away, my bristlenose pleco started sucking on them as if they were the most delicious thing in the tank. Not sure if he is munching them up though. Anybody know if plecos have been known to eat these plants?

The pleco I used to have would suck on my plants and at times rip some leaves as he grew bigger he did it more often but they jus go for the algae for te most part. The pleco I had was a common pleco

I doubt he'll devour the plant, but if its disturbed enough it won't get a chance to root.

Thanks for the help!
