So I am pretty sure one of my little chili rasbras has ich. I know that a lot of the treatments for ich are bad for shrimp/snails, which I also have in the tank... There are too many plants in the tank to make it possible to quarantine the fish, so how can i treat it in the whole tank without killing inverts or plants?

its kinda pricy just to stop ich but a UV sterilizer would work...

Sorry to hear that dude...  A UV ster will kill whats in the water. As fas as for your inhabitants, the only treatment/method I have ever used is increasing water temp (84-86 F) and adding salt (approx 1tbs/10gal) for about 1 week, then doing massive water changes (50-70%) to reduce salinity.  Not sure how this would go over with your shrimp and snails though...

Not sure if a UV sterilizer would be worth it for such a small tank, but it could be a good thing to have on hand seeing as how I plan to expand in the future... Thanks for the suggestions guys! I have add a bit of salt and wil up the temp. I have also heard feeding garlic to the fish can help.
