Surface/Floating Plants

I am have got everything I need to dirt my tank except for the plants. I know I really want some good surface or floating plants, what would you guys suggest? I really like lily pad like plants and I am not sure about duckweed..

 

Any suggestions or advice are welcome.

Personally I have dwarf water lettuce it looks nice from under and above it.

Tiger lotus starts from the ground and make Lilly pads at the top. Its a nice plant but it takes over the tank fast. Also it needs a ton of nutrients like iron to survive.
