I used to really enjoy doing different projects with the fish tanks. I was pleased to take in fish from others who needed assistance or to give a fish a home who needed one. But, the last year and a half has been rough, so my thoughts concerning my tanks has changed. I think I'd like to keep a set up without changing it and keep the tanks I have without taking on any projects. I will let the tanks change naturally of course, but I'm not going to attempt anything in-depth with them.
I love my fish. I love my frog's more. My friends think that's insane to say that I love my fish and frogs. Not being able to understand that means they don't fully understand the word love. Unless you choose to alter its coverage, then that word applies to all life forms.
I've chosen to sit back and look at what is in my tanks. I want to rest and watch the antics of the fish and the antics of the frogs. I want to run my compost pile, do my water changes and enjoy, truly enjoy what is in front of me. I'll watch the projects of others with full appreciation but as for me, my tanks will follow their natural course with minimal interference.
I look forward to spending more time on the site and watching the ingenuity of my fellow aquarists.
