There is a severe shortage of women aquarists around me. Where are all the girls? The guys are fine and all but, it would be nice to chat it up with another female aquarist with passion and drive for the craft.

I don't know, it seems important to have another girl. I'm in a mainly male dominated craft. It would be nice to hang out online with another woman who 'gets it'. I'd like to email and go, guess what girl, I had three Japanese Trapdoor snails born today, they're beautiful. Or get an email about her watching eggs hatch and loving every second of it.

I wast to be like, girl, I just had my hair done. I was at home relaxing, drinking some hot tea, feeling good and listening to my frogs sings. Oh, and the rainbowfish are just stunning.

I need another girly-girl aquarist or at least another female. I feel so .... alone......LOL....dang, where are the girls? Sheshhhhhh.

I guess that's all. :-)

Watch what? Watch us talk about fish, snails and aquatic plants?

It was a joke Faith.

Hi Faith, I've been known to put on my best go go shoes and a long voluptuous wig once in a while. If I fit the bill please feel free to message me any time, I don't mind at all!

There's a drag queen upstairs from me.She's quite enough, thank you very much. As a matter of fact, I set her 30 gallon aquarium up. I also set up the 55 in a second apartment here in my building. The only reason the Queen and I don't talk fish much is because she's always drunk, and I do mean always! Yes, she drinks like a fish.

A drag queen is a male cross-dresser. Do you call him "she" out of respect or because he is transgender? Just curious. I had a male drag queen for a customer once and I never knew how to address him/her. I would've have asked but he was a scary, creepy dude and I didn't want to give him any excuses to go psycho on me.

OMG A simple post has gone so wrong. LOL Oh my goodness.

My neighbor is transgender so I say she. I should note, I can't speak for the gay community.

Your psycho person may or may not be transgender. Because 'she' is psycho ( I can speak for the psycho community as I belong to it) but because she's psycho I'd do everything in my power to appease her. This may prevent unnecessary blood shed as well as physical and emotional scars.

Oh my Lord, I only wanted a girl to hang out with but we've gone down a road that I fear we can't come back from. LOL

Perhaps I should have been clearer in my post. I would like to hang out online in a heterosexual way with another female who is interested in fish.

Oh Robert, Robert, Robert, what are we going to do with you?

Comment by Robert Jango on January 27, 2013 at 1:33am

I only asked why you addressed your drag queen neighbor as "she", and if you knew what the correct protocol was.

In your answer I get:

"unnecessary blood shed"... "physical and emotional scars"... "the psycho community"... "hang out in a heterosexual way with another female"

I appreciate the clarification but I'm kind of sorry I asked...

...well, not really.

Do with me what you will Faith.
