I'm thinking of getting another Pictus Catfish ????

Hello ......... I have one Pictus Catfish right now in my 65gal aquarium - he is about 4 inches long - I was thinking of getting another . If anyone knows if they will get along together if I have two ????? The one I have now gets along with any fish but I was just wondering will he get along with another Pictus ???? Please reply .

Mine do just fine, the problem that im having with my pictus's right now is that i got them at the same time and one ate more then the other so one is way bigger hahaha. the other one is plenty healthy but i just have to almost hand feed the small one. Awhile ago i had to get my 2 new pictus catfish because i put in too much co2 but the ones before these they would bump into eachother and screatch! they would actually talk to eachother!!!

Comment by Jeremy robinson on November 12, 2012 at 4:45pm: yeah they are like channel catfish and swim in schools. but they will pick on other fish in the tank when they are put in pairs. will also eat smaller fish with no hesitation.
