I've been surfing around tank tv for few hours now and kudos to all you studs out there with killer photos. Super jealous. I'm pretty happy and proud of my 3 tanks, and want to show off my plants, fish, setups, etc....
I'm no camera guru by any stretch of the imagination... any tips for me? I got a couple small digital cameras.
Have issues with glare...

wait till dark block out all light other than the tank light and don't use a flash....also just because a light makes your plants grow well doesn't mean it will do your tank justice on film. for example if i photograph with my regular 6700k light that is always on my tank my whole tank looks yellowy and pretty much terrible, if i switch to a light with more blues or reds it brings out those colors in the tank...not saying run out and buy crazy lights but having some variation in color temps probably wont hurt your pictures
Having a DSLR camera with full manual mode is key to getting a good photo without having to use flash. Its hard to get the lighting right without being able to adjust ISO and shutter speed. You can use flash but do it at a angle so you don't get the glare in the final shot.
