What's up to everyone out on Fishtank TV!

Bad news

Well my eggs for my discus pair were actually unfertilized and they were eaten. But no worries I know these two will breed again soon. Hopefully next time the male will fertilize them this time.

Brand New Rasbora's Mating?

Last night was a great night, I went to my local Fish supplier with the idea of purchasing some Rasbora's for my 46 gallon planted tank. I had a 8 dollar credit with the store and they gave me 7 Harlaquines for that credit. I was really please. I acclimated them very slowly over the course of a few hours and then added them to the tank. This morning I was sitting watching them for about 35 minutes or so and I noticed some funny behaviour I have never seen before from any of the previous fish…

Killifish

This morning I woke up and for the life of me I couldn't get Killifish out of my head. I have seen them at the Store before and often wondered if they would do well in my tank. They look pretty stressed out at the store with barely any color to them, but I am eager to see what would happen to their color if put in my tank (IMO fish always look crappy when bought, it's not until you get them home and in the tank, wait a day or so and they always look way better!. I'm hoping that I can get…

Well water and copper pipe questions!!!

Hey guys I am getting ready to move and the place I am moving to has well water and copper pipes within the house. I am currently using tap water coming from plastic pipes in my tank with the addition of tetra aquasafe for the chloromines. My concern is that the well water and the copper pipes could have something in it that is not good for my fish. Does anyone know anything about this? I have actually heard people say that well water is actually better for fish but I am worried becuase it…
