Well as the title says, i just want some ideas for these to 20 gallon tall tanks i resently got for $7. Now they wont be set up for a long while maybe by new years maybe not. So some of the things i was thinking was maybe to shrimp tank one yellow shrimp one red cherry shrimp, so tons of moss all over the tanks. I also kinda thought for one i would move my 5 neon tetras from the 55 to one of the 20's so they wouldnt need to work so hard for food against the rainbows and the bala sharks. For…

I followed my comentors addvice and I bought a floresent bulb lighting fixture aswell as a 6500 bulb for planting my tank. I also got a new filter that goes on the inside of my tank. I was just wondering, what plants could go in the tank that will be easy to take care of, and can be cut back to remain small enough to keep in the tank. I am also looking for suggestings on what to stock it with. I'd like to use small tropical community but I'm not sure what fish to use.

I had a 15 gal setup from November until July this summer, until rampant heat waves killed all of my fish. My tank was freshwater, plastic plants, black gravel at the time. Now we are in September, and I decided to go DIRT. Currently dirted tank using Organic Choice potting mix, layered with red clay and oyster shell. Capped with black gravel re-used from old set up. So I have a 10 gallon tank currently holding anubias nana, dwarf hair grass, and anarchis. I use Flourish, API Leaf-Zone, Flourish Root Tabs, and I am currently using a Marineland single bright led lighting system. I don't know if i can run co2 ever in this tank. So i'm just wondering if I absolutely need it in my tank. Also the 10 houses 1 German Blue Ram, 6 Neon Tetras, and a Otto. Please tell me your opinions.

I just restarted my ten gallon aquarium with black sand and I plan on planting it, any addvice on what plants to use with an led light as well as some light from my window across the tank would be appreciated.

Hello ......  just a warning to any of you out there that was thinking of getting some Plecos -  they breed like crazy - I ended up with close to a hundred baby Plecos in a few weeks . Make sure if you put them in your tank you don't have any place for them to lay eggs ,  unless you want a bunch of babies …

I want to start a planted aquarium. I have a 6gallon bow front tank that i had 8 neon tetras and two rummy nose and one dwarf spotted plecostumus. I had an ich outbreak but i controlled it and killed it off using nox-ich. unfortunatly the parisite took all but two of my fish, I now have one neon and one pleco. the question is why does my tank suck i have a good t5 light i have fluval plant stratum capped with sand some of the easiest plants you can get but they still die....why?
